OVER HILLS AND VALLEYS
When cycling is twice the fun
Countless bike paths and trails
In the Passeier Valley, not only is hiking a delight, but so is biking. Whether you’re a mountain biker, a road cyclist, or a leisure cyclist, there are plenty of opportunities here to explore the area on two wheels. Challenging trails, downhill routes, and mountain passes will make every cyclist’s heart race—literally. And no matter where you are, the panoramic views are always unique!
The Passeier Valley bike path
The 20-kilometer route begins right here in St. Leonhard, at the underpass of the bypass road. After just 1 km, you’ll pass the first highlight of the bike ride: the Museum Passeier. The Museum Passeier is well worth a visit. The flat path then leads past St. Martin, Quellenhof, Saltaus, and Riffian, ending in the historic old town of Merano, where the historic arcades await you!
