EXPERIENCE HISTORY
When museums become a vacation experience
MuseumPasseier in St. Leonhard
The museum at Sandhof, the birthplace of Andreas Hofer, tells the story—in a lively and entertaining way—of how the bearded innkeeper and cattle dealer became a Tyrolean folk hero. In the outdoor area stands a so-called “Haufenhof,” a type of farmstead typical of the Passeier Valley. The “Miër Psairer” exhibition also offers a crash course in the Psairer dialect and provides insights into the character of the Passeirer people. Get ready for a treat!
